Matcha Fro-Yo

Matcha Fro-Yo (1 Serving)

  • 1/2 cup of yogurt (coconut yogurt used here)
  • 1 scoop of PANATEA Ceremonial or Culinary matcha
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 banana, frozen and sliced
  • 1/8 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup (do not use if tart flavor is preferred)
  • 1-3 tablespoons of almond milk (only use if a more smoothie-like consistency is preferred)
  1. Place yogurt, matcha, vanilla extract, banana, salt (optional: maple syrup, almond milk) in a blender
  2. Pulse blender for approximately 20 seconds
  3. Scrape down sides of blender if necessary
  4. Blend on high until desired consistency is reached
  5. Scoop blended mixture into a bowl
  6. Place bowl in freezer for 5 minutes to firm up
  7. Remove bowl from freezer and cover with toppings of your choice (blueberries, strawberries, dark chocolate chips and pecans are pictured here!)
