"The Matcha Jefferson" Speciality Cocktail

4th of July weekend means BBQs, brews, those firecracker popsicles, and of course matcha cocktails. So we took the liberty (pun obviously intended), to share one of our favorite recipes with you.

"The Matcha Jefferson" Speciality Cocktail (1 serving)

  • 1 scoop of PANATEA Ceremonial or Culinary matcha
  • 1 oz hot water
  • 5 small mint leaves
  • 2 oz sake
  • 1/2 oz yuzu juice (or citrus juice of choice)
  • 1 oz agave
  • 1 splash of champagne
  • 1 handful of ice cubes
  1. Mix matcha and hot water together with a spoon to create a green concentrate
  2. Muddle mint leaves
  3. Add green concentrate, muddled mint, sake, yuzu juice, agave and ice to a glass
  4. Shake like a bartender ;)
  5. Poor liquid into a fresh glass
  6. Add ice cubes
  7. Top with a splash of champagne
  8. Enjoy your #matchamoment
